Why don't I see video on my iOS device, but can hear audio? : Splashtop CamCam

Nothing has changed. When I connect to my TV tuner PC is still see the video feed in CamCam (but still no audio, even though I used CamConfig to select the tuner's audio - my only choice, by the way) ... I know CamCam is not designed to stream my TV tuner audio/video ... I just wish it could. Now there is no other "camera" connected to this PC, so all there is is the TV tuner, which CamCam streams ...

I did at one time, but now only the USB TV tuner. I don't have any problem, I just wanted to let you know what I was seeing ... I am curious why I don't get the TV tuner audio?

The origional design of CamCam is to help user to watch video from their computer's camera, and listen voice from 'Mic' device.

TV Tuner is not our design target. It's end user's creation. It's true that our app can capture video from TV tuner card just like from camera. But to support TV tuner card's voice, we need to capture voice from 'output device' instead of 'Mic' device. This is very different. And needs more work.

If you really want CamCam to fully support TV Tuner, please create vote on http://support-camcam.splashtop.com/forums/20264827-feature-requests . If lots of users want this feature, our product manager will do something to make our users happy. :)

I use cam2 on my iphone 4s and my streamer on windows xp. My camera is genius eye 312. I have used your tools camconfig and my cam on iphone still only hear the sound without any picture. Your camconfig found my driver camera eye 312. I click Ok and there still no picture. Please help. Note : I already use both newest version Regards Irsan

I have two splashtop apps. The splashtop remote works great and I am able to remotely access my mother's laptop and access her Skype account and communicate with her. The Splashtop camcam on the othe hand works for a few seconds and then you see a webcam with a red minus sign. I only have sound. It did work once and it was really great as I was able to check up on my my mom. But that did mot last. It went back to seeing the video for just a couple of seconds. Anyone one have a fix?

I'm in the UK: CamCam works fine on iPad3 using 3G on the T-Mobile network but on the iPhone4S using 3G on the O2 network the screen just goes black, although ti gives the impression of having connceted.

Running Jumi's cam app on the same phone works OK.

Please fix or suggest a cure.

Afraid that running this this and selecting my webcam made no difference. My iPhone4S is still showing a blank screen when I connect.

I shall have to abandon this product and carry on using JumiCam which works perfectly !!
