Why ask me to update the Streamer app? In my Mac, I already have the latest Streamer

We are sorry to say that, at this moment, CamCam does not yet support Mac computers.  It's in our plans to do so, but currently CamCam only supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 computers.

Are you telling me that I just spent money on your Apple app only to find out that you don't support Apple Macs??? Are you kidding me? The splays top remote desktop works fine on my Mac. Why not the CamCam??

This is very true and very perplexing. My understanding, having bought the app and downloaded a specific Mac streamer, is that this system would work.

Please let me know when an OSX lion set up is planned for. And let me know by e-mail please.

Thank you

I just purchased this app as well and I am greatly disappointed to find that it does not work with Mac.  It is not clearly stated anywhere I can find that it does not work with Mac's. The fact is the entire process has left me feeling very let down by an app that I was excited about using.  Will you please let me know if and when this becomes available for Mac computers.

Really?

For the sake of your future customers. why not move the fact that your CamCam doesn't support Mac ("yet") up to the TOP of your product descriptions? Kinda hurts to find out you needed to click <more> to know the software is useless to about 90% of your potential customer base.

That would be the "Right" thing to do for a customer service driven business.

Respectfully.

I am also extremely disappointed! As the other people posting on this thread, I am a Mac user and I feel cheated. The information provided before buying the App is very misleading. If I had known it was not compatible with mac I would have never bought it. If mac support is not planned in the near future, I want my money back

I just spent money on buying the app to learn that it doesn't work with my Mac. I find the information on the app very misleading. I downloaded the Streamer for Mac. The information on the page says: "A computer with the Splashtop Streamer can receive connections from any device running Splashtop Remote Desktop ,FileHound , Splashtop Remote Browser , Splashtop Whiteboard , Splashtop CamCam , Splashtop XDisplay , Splashtop Touchpador Engine Connect applications." Can I get my money back?

Allow me to chime in as well. What sense does it make to offer the app for iPad, the Streamer for Mac, and then after the expense and bother of installing, find out that it doesn't work? This type of thing needs to be corrected ASAP to avoid the appearance of scamming people out of their money (and time).  Terribly disappointing!

Sorry for this issue.

Please contact with Apple for refund.
Here are the steps to request refund from Windows iTunes or Mac iTunes:

1.To begin the process of requesting a refund from the iTunes store, you will need to first open iTunes.
2.Navigate to your purchase history by clicking "Store">"View My Account">>"Purchase History."
3.Inside your Purchase History page, select "Report a Problem."
4.In the window that opens up to report your problem, describe your reason for requesting a refund. Be very polite and very detailed as to why you are requesting a refund and what exactly it is for.
5.That's it!

Apple customer service should usually respond to you within 48 hours and let you know if your request has been granted.

That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard!!

Don't let anyone buy it until it works!! You are supposed to be smart people.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!!!

Can someone please explain the logic in selling vaporware(software that doesn't exist)?

This is ridiculous, to sell an app and have people download the streamer software from a link listing Mac OSX supported version only to later find out that it does not work. Its not acceptable practice. Would you mind letting all on this thread know when the software will function in the way you have advertised???

Wow, what a joke......just like everyone else here, I was duped with advertising that said anything BUT the fact that it does not work on a mac.  Epic marketing fail and minus 200 points for not making that clear.  The only reason I bought it was because I enjoy the Splashtop Remote so much and this looked like a nice quick way to get just to the cam, but WOW I can't believe you aren't right up front about it not working with the mac.  I have a LOT more respect for a company that makes it very clear it will not work on a mac rather than one that tells you how to get a refund like you are doing your customers some kind of favor.  Gee, thanks so much for explaining to me how to get a refund from Apple (and waste more of my time for your fail) when you could have prevented wasting my time altogether by making it clear this does not work on a mac.  And for a company that advertises 'It's in our plans' to have it work with a mac.......what the hell of have you been doing the past year if you are so concerned about this running on a mac.  As much as I like Splashtop, I'll have to think twice about buying anything from your company again unless I want to sit and read every little detail about compatibility issues where you might happen to bury the fact that it does not run on a mac because I can't count on you guys to simply be HONEST AND UPFRONT.  You earned the combo......Epic 'could have been prevented' and 'it's definitely in our plans' FAIL award.  C'mon guys......you seem like a smarter company than to leave this cliche pothole in the road for everyone.  Thanks for giving me a place to rant, but it's 'definitely in my plans' to work on it.........kik.
